At Futer we process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR (EU) 2016/679 and Spanish data protection law.
Data we collect
- Full name and email (sign-up)
- Date of birth (minimum age check)
- Activity data: matches created, registrations, results
- ELO statistics generated from match results
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of the explicit consent you give when signing up (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
Storage
All data is stored on servers located in the EU (eu-west-1 region, Ireland) through Supabase.
Product analytics
We measure how Futer is used to decide what to improve: product actions (creating a match, joining, reporting and confirming a payment, creating a crew), sign-up and onboarding, whether you view or close the Premium offer, and which app screens you visit. Screens are recorded by type (for example, “match page”), never which specific match or profile.
We identify you only by your internal user ID: we never send your name, email or phone number. The data is processed by PostHog Inc. as a data processor, on servers in Frankfurt (EU), under its data processing agreement (posthog.com/dpa).
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the product (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
On the web we set no cookies and store nothing in your browser for measurement. In the app you can turn it off at any time in Settings → “Share usage data”.
In-app purchases
If you subscribe to Futer Premium, payment is handled by your phone's store (Google Play or the App Store): Futer never sees your payment details. To know which plan you have we use RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) as a data processor, which receives your internal user ID and your purchase history. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement.

Geolocation
Futer does NOT request location permissions during sign-up. If you enable proximity search in the future, the permission will be requested only at that moment.
